Account Manager, Rethink Benefits

The Account Services Manager is responsible for of key strategic client relationships by managing client deliverables, ensuring overall client satisfaction, retention, account growth and profitability. The position ensures client and Rethink compliance with all contractual agreements, deliverables, and timelines. The Account Services Manager reports to the Vice President of Account Services and acts as the ultimate advocate for clients and Rethink.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management
  • Support/facilitate implementation of new client launches
  • Interface with Rethink Development & Operations to ensure client deliverables are met
  • Conduct complex data analysis and compilation
  • Implement new service enhancements
Contract Management
  • Ensure contract compliance
  • Develop a work plan and monitor the completion of deliverables to ensure all tasks and timelines are met or exceeded
  • Facilitate execution of contract amendments as needed
Account Management
  • Develop and maintain positive client relationships
  • Collaborate with the client to meet user engagement goals
  • Conduct educational promotion and strategic presentations to drive user engagement
  • Create year-end and quarterly reports for clients to communicate program value and drive client satisfaction and contract renewals
Additional Duties as Needed
  • Opportunity to work on additional projects related to marketing, reporting, and product to meet business needs and compliment/grow the Account Services Manager’s skill set

Some travel required to attend client meetings & open enrollment events

Education, Licenses, and Certification

  • Bachelor’s degree

Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 3 years account management experience. Healthcare, Wellness, and/or Benefits background highly preferred
  • Excellent professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Project management and negotiation skills
  • Must have excellent problem solving and analytical skills to successfully resolve multiple client issues in timely manner
  • Strong multi-tasking skills required for multiple task/project completions and ad-hoc requests
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently with minimal day-to-day supervision
  • Ability to make independent decisions and communicate accordingly while also working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and security of vital project/client information
  • Excellent group facilitation, teamwork, and organizational skills
  • Computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Salesforce
